A quote is for sharing someone’s post with your audience. But people are using it to reply because they want everyone to see their response.

A reply is for actually talking to the person. If I’m trying to have a dialogue, I’m replying. If I’m trying to broadcast what someone said to my followers, I’m quoting.

S/O to those trying.. because there’s a difference between posting about your personal life versus creating something like a “#FriendoftheShow” hashtag where we seek advice from each other and/or pose questions to the cast. So much potential.

After 4 months, that’s expected and understandable. But also understand that new people are joining this platform every day with a different expectation of what you’ve adapted to overtime. AND there are some people who connect plenty on enough platforms already. But I genuinely love the fact that you love this place. Some connections you just can’t replace.

I have Twitter, Patreon, Spotify, Clubhouse, Stationhead and Reddit. Creating this community didn’t centralize JB fan commentary, it just gave fans another log in to keep up with. What’s happening here was already happening elsewhere better.. So sure we can “have fun” here and post what we want but my question is why..? 💀

I think it’s okay to recognize that this community would be a lot more well-known ON the pod if 90% of the timeline wasn’t about our personal lives and our personal grievances with each other. Imagine if one of the cast members responded to one of our posts by name because we kept a conversation going from the pod. That’s what I originally envisioned for us. VISIBILITY.

Hopefully you’re at the next station since this is a book you recommended.

Only? No. But it would be nice if was discussed more. The best pod discussions are still happening elsewhere and it’s unfortunate.

I’m aware of what’s on each tier. Two things can exist at once. Although the part of the show isn’t a part of my tier, as a consumer and listener, I would still like to hear it apart of the show. There was never anything to debate because the point I was making was that I am no longer enjoying my experience as a listener despite what tier I’m on.

You gotta find an easier/shorter way to say “I disagree” 💀

I honestly feel like you can get your point across without typing a long paragraph. If you feel like as a patronize, you’re getting the benefits you deserve then so be it, but I said what I said. And my time is as a patronize is still coming to an end lol. I’ve spent time on every tier and none of it feels worth it anymore. Feel free to feel differently, but thank you for confirming that there is still no merch and there has not been a part of the show on any episode lately.
