I don’t mind explaining why it’s an issue. It doesn’t even have to be an argument if he genuinely doesn’t understand and had no ill intent. But he needs to be able to clearly explain what was the purpose of the dinner and why he had the desire to go.

And it’s important about who the ex is and their relationship. Like if yall were already friends, that’s understandable. But if it’s on some rekindling shit, yeaaa nah I’m not rolling with that.
